Rocky Mount bikers head to Washington for 9/11

Posted: Updated:
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - A group of bikers from Rocky Mount Harley Davidson are in Washington to show their support for the people killed or injured in the attacks of September 11.

The bikers are joining up with others from around the country. They're hoping to get about 2 million supporters.

"We're just trying to kind of encourage our government to look after those from 9/11, survivors and participants," said George Colbert a biker in the group.

They plan to ride through Washington Wednesday and even stop on the west lawn of the White House.
