Man wakes up from surgery, gushes over woman he doesn't realize is his wife

Posted: Updated:

After enduring several surgeries over the years, Jason Mortensen was rewarded with something most people only experience once- true love at first sight.

The YouTube video entitled "Seeing her for the first time again" has women gushing.  Mortensen awoke in his hospital bed in a loopy state due to the anesthesia.

His wife, Candice, was recording as he woke up.  While she was focused on making sure her husband ate crackers, he was focused on hitting on the strange woman in front of him.

Jason says his wife has been by his side through five surgeries in the six years they've been married.
