Four suspected local drug dealers are now behind bars after a bust by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office.

On September 12, 2013, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division says they arrested four suspected drug dealers on various narcotics charges stemming from an investigation in Lenoir County.

Narcotics Detectives acting in an undercover capacity met with the four subjects in the Hwy. 11 North area of Lenoir County in regards to a pre-arranged narcotics transaction.  When the four alleged suspects arrived, the undercover detective saw the four individuals and also saw they had a small infant in the vehicle with them.  The narcotics transaction was completed and the four subjects were taken into custody without incident.  As part of the operation, narcotics detectives seized 50 percocet pills, an amount that results in a trafficking charge.

Sheriff Chris Hill stated in a release, “It’s bad enough when someone engages in the illegal sale of narcotics, it’s far worse to bring an infant along for the ride and expose that infant to the dangers of this illicit business.  Thank God nothing went awry during the arrest.”

Shawn Michael Foskey, 29, of Greenville was arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin.  Foskey was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under $500,000.00 secured bond.

David Earl Everette, 39, of Greenville, NC was arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin and two outstanding orders for arrest from Pitt County. Everette was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under $505,500.00 secured bond.

Tosha Staton, 40, of Washington was arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.  Staton was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under $500,000.00 secured bond.

Bridget Elizabeth Foskey, 32, of Washington was arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.  Foskey was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under $500,000.00 secured bond.
