Middle Creek High evacuated for 25 minutes after bomb threat

Middle Creek High School was evacuated for almost half an hour Tuesday because of a potential bomb threat.

Principal Wade Martin at Middle Creek said in a message to the school community ,"Earlier this morning, a student discovered a note about a possible bomb threat and immediately reported it to school administrators.

"Students and staff were evacuated for approximately 25 minutes so that Wake County Public School security and the Cary Police could investigate the threat."

Martin said the students were orderly and cooperative as they waited

Students remained orderly and cooperative as they waited for the all-clear and then returned to the school.
