The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is hosting the 13th annual BugFest Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you're feeling brave you can try dishes at Café Insecta. Insects are the main ingredient in the dishes prepared by local chefs.
Starting 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. BugFest is held at Jones Street, The Plaza, Edenton Street, and the Museum of Natural Sciences. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be live bands, bug stations, a nocturnal insect tour and a street carnival.
This year's theme bug is the scorpion. Don't miss out on over 100 exhibits, crafts, games and activities allowing you to interact with entomologists and other scientists.
