TRAFFIC: overturned semi on Interstate 4 near downtown Tampa

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

An overturned semi tractor trailer is blocking the roadways on Interstate 4 near downtown Tampa Tuesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP report, the semi was going too fast on the slippery road approaching the south exit ramp to southbound Interstate 275 off westbound I-4. The trailer overturned to its right side on the road shoulder. The ramp is now closed.

FHP troopers said, the semi operated by Indian River Transport Company from Winter Haven was carrying orange juice. None of the load was lost, according to the FHP report.

You can take Highway 60 or Dr. Martin lUther King Jr. Boulevard and get back on the interstate at Howard/Armenia entrance.
