ETSU offers fall break fun for the ‘Renaissance Child’

JOHNSON CITY – East Tennessee State University's Office of Professional Development will offer the Renaissance Child Fall Enrichment Program Oct. 7-11 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Many area schools will observe fall break that week.

This creative experience provides activities for children ages 6-12. The schedule includes nature hikes and studies, arts and crafts, and safe science experiments.

Campers should bring a bag lunch with a beverage each day and wear "paint-friendly" clothing, close-toed shoes and a sweater or jacket.

The program has a limited space for participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee for the full week is $145.

For further information, or to register, contact Darla Dye of the ETSU Office of Professional Development at (423) 439-8084 or dyed@etsu.edu.  Details are available online at www.etsu.edu/renaissancechild.
