LAKELAND, FL (WFLA) - The Lakeland Police Department released the 911 recordings of the phone calls to the Lakeland Police emergency communication call center where callers complained about unwanted visits from LPD Officer Julio Pagan.

Pagan was arrested on charges of armed sexual assault and aggravated stalking Thursday.

Lakeland Police Chief Lisa Womack said that the department received phone calls about Pagan's behavior in August but the information never made it further than the call center. Chief Womack was not made aware of the calls until last week.

Chief Womack said the department is almost done with the administrative investigation into those calls. Christinia Jordan, the LPD communications specialist was placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.  LPD released the 911 call records Friday.

Polk State Attorney Jerry Hill sent a scathing letter to Lakeland City Manager Doug Thomas questioning the effectiveness of  Chief Womack's leadership.

"The city must act now and take decisive action," Hill said in the letter.
