President Barack Obama will today meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The meeting between the two leaders is expected to focus on the future stability of the Middle East, especially developments in Iran and Syria.

A traffic alert in Bedford County. A section of Route 684 (Penicks Mill Road) will be closed while VDOT replaces the bridge over Camp Creek. It will be closed between Route 685 (Breezy Ridge Road) and Route 688 (Buffalo Run) in the Thaxton area. Detour signs will redirect you.

In Alleghany County this morning, Route 220 just north of Dunbrack Road (Route 684) in Covington will close as a drainage pipe is replaced. The work will continue through Wednesday. A detour will be set up here as well.

The Virginia Military Institute will honor Ryan Crocker with it's Distinguished Diplomat Award later this morning. Crocker served as a U.S. ambassador to six countries in some of the world's most politically unstable regions.

The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is looking for public input at it plans to develop a statewide Stocked Trout Management Plan. There's a meeting at Wytheville Community College tonight from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Galax building.

Justin Bieber's mother will be in Lynchburg this morning. Pattie Mallette, who is also an author, will speak at Liberty University's Convocation this morning 10:00.
