Family members indicted in theft from Rocky Mount Walmart

Posted: Updated:

A Franklin County Grand Jury indictments two family members for stealing from the Rocky Mount Walmart.

Two cousins, Tiffany Santillo of Bassett and Anthony Santillo, 25, of Collinsville were each indicted on one court of grand larceny.

The two stole multiple laptop computers adding up to about $700. They also stole multiple groceries and other electronics.

Investigators from the Rocky Mount Police Department say they worked diligently to search for the pair. Police used surveillance video to ID both Santillo's and arrest them Wednesday. They said the two just walked out with a cart full of the stolen items.

Anthony Santillo is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail without bond. Tiffany Santillo was released from jail on a secure bond.
