A Jacksonville man is behind bars for stealing an ATV and then selling it on Facebook.

Jones County deputies say they responded to the reported theft at a home on Houston Rd. near Comfort on the morning of October 4.

Investigators determined that 18-year-old Khiron Jamel Mills of Jacksonville stole the four-wheeler, took it out of the county, and sold it on Facebook for $300. He was charged with felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.

Mills was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

The four-wheeler was located and returned to its lawful owners.

Additional charges are pending in the case.
