GREENVILLE, N.C. -
Police say they've identified the driver who struck two parked vehicles behind Pirate Auto Care Center.
20-year-old Jacob Kelly Collins of Burlington, N.C. was cited for the hit & run violation.
Officer say it’s believed Collins, the driver of the light-colored Ford Mustang with dark racing stripes, drove behind the auto care center in an attempt to evade a police car, which may have spotted him driving erratically on East Tenth Street.
It happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday Morning.
The case is closed pending the outcome of court proceedings.
Authorities are expected to release the results of autopsies on the two bodies recovered from the fiery crash that killed "Fast & Furious" actor Paul Walker and his friend.
"Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker was killed by injuries from both the impact and subsequent fire when the Porsche his friend was driving smashed into a light pole and tree, according to an autopsy released Wednesday.
