Fayetteville man jailed, accused of trafficking guns

NEW YORK - A Fayetteville, North Carolina man is in jail, accused of trafficking illegal weapons to Brooklyn, New York.
     
43-year-old Christopher McPhaul is charged with criminal sale of a fire arm after a 6-month investigation.
     
Officers say he used 3 different cell phones to unload more than 30 guns to undercover officers.
     
He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted.
     
New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says most of the illegal guns in the city come from North Carolina and Virginia and police are trying to stop the pipeline.
