Entrepreneurs to pitch ideas at Triangle Startup Weekend

Posted: Updated:
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

Entrepreneurs who want to share their ideas and hear new ones will have a chance to gather Nov. 15-17 when the Triangle Startup Weekend is held in Chapel Hill.

The weekend is a hands-on experience for leaders and entrepreneurs who want to vet their ideas.

There are "open mic" pitches on Friday, when participants share their best ideas and encourage others to join their team. On Saturday and Sunday, the teams frame their ideas and look to turn them into viable potential  businesses.

On Sunday night, the teams share their ideas with a panel of experts to get feedback.

Participating judges for the Chapel Hill event will include Ted Zoller, the director for the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UNC-CH Kenan-Flagler Business School.

The weekend is part of the global non-profit initiative Startup Weekend.

Local entrepreneurs can register here.
