Cleaners find bones, voodoo items in Colorado shed

Posted: Updated:
DENVER - Cleaners in Colorado find a shed full of voodoo worship items.

The cleaners made the shocking discovery while trying to get an abandoned property ready for sale.

Police say the man who lived in the shed died 15 years ago and the voodoo alter went undisturbed until last week.

The cleaning crew and police found a caldron filled with bones, a piece of skin, goat legs, candle droppings, and other occult memorabilia.

Neighbors Scott and Kelly Keller say they are shocked by the bizarre discovery on the other side of their fence.

"It would be kind of a scary thing to have that next door to you," one said, adding, “It's weird that this time of year, right around Halloween."

Police do not believe any kind of crime occurred in the house, but that's not helping neighbors get to sleep at night.
