Missing Scotland County woman's remains found

LAURINBURG, N.C. (AP) - Police in Laurinburg say skeletal remains have been identified as those of a Scotland County woman who has been missing since 2004.

The Fayetteville Observer reported (http://bit.ly/H1HtxR) that the remains found earlier this month were those of Angela Tiyetta Terry, who was 27 when she disappeared nine years ago.

The cause of death has not been determined.

Police say Terry was last seen in Laurinburg.

The remains were found after police acted on information that led them to search some woods.
