2 suspected Kinston drug dealers busted

KINSTON, N.C. - Two suspected drug dealers are off the Kinston streets.

Police say the served a search warrant at a residence on Greenmeade Drive on Wednesday.

They recovered 4.5 ounces of crack cocaine, an ounce of marijuana, a stolen .45 caliber handgun, numerous articles of drug paraphernalia, and $5,880 in US Currency in the search.

Officers arrested two men, 30-year-old Timothy Vaughn and 29-year-old Nathanial Roberts without incident. They’re facing numerous charges, including Conspire to Traffic Cocaine, Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, and Possession with Intent Sell & Deliver Marijuana.

Roberts was placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a $255,000 bond. Vaughn was also placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a $130,000 bond.
