Ghosts walks taking place across the east

Posted: Updated:
NEW BERN, N.C. - This weekend, there will be ghosts walking the streets of eastern North Carolina.

Well, they're actors.

For 23-years now, New Bern has hosted a ghost walk.

This year, there's 17-sites full of ghosts emerging from shadows to tell their stories.

The theme this year is The Haunted Housewives of New Bern. You can buy tickets at the Historical Society office on Broad Street.

And in Greenville, a new tradition continues. Now in its second year, the Magnolia Arts Center is hosting its own ghost walk.

You'll tour historic sites in uptown and hear spooky stories of Greenville's past.

Tours will leave from the historic Humber House on West Fifth Street.
