Newport Man Jailed After Stabbing Mother

911 Call: Judge slaps Newport man accused of stabbing mother with 250K bond

BEAUFORT, N.C. - A Newport man is back behind bars, accused of stabbing his mother with a knife.

Carteret County deputies arrested 23-year-old Taylor Hill.
    
He made his first court appearance Monday morning, where a judge upped his bail to a quarter million dollars.

Deputies say Hill's mother called 911 Saturday and reported she had been stabbed in the chest. LISTEN TO THE 911 CALL
    
Deputies say Hill got angry at his mother after she confronted him about using her car without permission.
    
Hill has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
