Vols Worley expected to miss game against Missouri

Knoxville, Tn -  Reports out of Knoxville say that Tennessee Volunteer quarterback Justin Worley will not play in Saturday's game against Missouri.

Our sister station in Knoxville WATE TV-6 has learned the starting quarterback will be sidelined when UT faces the nationally ranked Tigers Saturday.

Worley played the first half Saturday in a 45-10 loss at Alabama. He threw two interceptions and no touchdowns.

Worley then stepped in to make a tackle and appeared to re-aggravate an injury to his right hand.

With Worley sidelined, the starting quarterback duties for this weekend could fall to freshman Joshua Dobbs.

He started the second half against Alabama and led the Vols on two scoring drives.

Also in the mix will be Nathan Peterman and Riley Ferguson.
