Bucs move into first place with dominating 4-1 win

JOHNSON CITY, TN -

The ETSU men's soccer team took control of first place in the Atlantic Sun standings after knotching a commanding 4-1 win over USC Upstate Wednesday night. Senior Luis Calzadilla (Caracas, Venezuela) scored two goals, with fellow seniorDavid Geno (Kingsport, Tenn.) assisting on both.

Senior Jonny Campbell (Johnson City, Tenn.) gave the Bucs (7-5-3, 5-2-0) an early 1-0 lead, converting on a set piece from 40 yards out in the 23rd minute to score his first goal of the season.

The Spartans (1-10-2, 1-5-1) responded, scoring an equalizer before halftime; however, ETSU used three second-half goals to put the match out of reach, sealing its fifth conference win and moving into first place in the league standings ahead of Florida Gulf Coast and Northern Kentucky.
