Jacksonville duo facing additional charges for meth

Posted: Updated:
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - A Jacksonville man and woman are behind bars, facing additional charges related to manufacturing meth.

It started back in August when deputies responded to a report of several suspicious items discovered in a mobile home park located on Old Maplehurst Rd.

An investigation led to the arrest of Samanth Gilbert and Domenique Dwyer for manufacturing methamphetamine.

On November 1, a chemist’s lab report from the NC Crime Lab led to additional criminal charges being filed on the pair.

They were already in custody when the additional charges were filed. Gilbert and Dwyer received an additional $180,000 secure bond and are now being held on a $280,000.00 secure bond.
