JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -

Deputies have charged two minors and an adult after a firearm was reported missing.

It happened November 4th after the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office got a report that a juvenile took a firearm from his father and gave it to another juvenile at White Oak High School.

On Tuesday, investigators spoke to students and followed leads to a home in the Midway Park area, where the firearm was located in the possession of an adult.

They charged 16-year-old Antonio Fernandez and 17-year-old Chance McClain with Possession of a Handgun by a Minor.  They also charged 18-year-old Tyler Koepp with Sell or Give a Weapon to a Minor.

Deputies don’t believe the firearm was ever on the White Oak High School campus. They also say they don’t believe any students or staff were ever in danger resulting from this missing firearm.
