DURHAM, N.C. -

Duke upset No. 24 Miami 48-30 on Saturday to take sole possession of first place in the ACC's messy Coastal Division, and push its way into this week's Associated Press national poll with a No. 25 ranking.

The national ranking is the program's first since 1994, when the Blue Devils were 25th following the regular season.

Duke is also ranked 24th in this week's USA Today national poll, voted on by the nation's head coaches.

The Blue Devils stand at 8-2 overall and 4-2 in ACC action. This is Duke's first winning season since 1994 and now they've beaten two Top 25 teams in the same year for the first time since 1971.

Duke travels to meet Wake Forest on Saturday at noon.
