University Health Care System is excited to announce that Kim Taylor, a results-driven executive with nearly 10 years of health care experience, has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer for University Health Care Physicians.
Ms. Taylor comes to University from Novant Health in Winston-Salem, N.C., not-for-profit integrated system of 14 medical centers and a medical group consisting of 1,123 physicians in 343 clinic locations, as well as numerous outpatient surgery centers, medical plazas, rehabilitation programs, diagnostic imaging centers and community health outreach programs.
While with Novant, Ms. Taylor was instrumental in forging physician partnerships and relationships; and working with team management and development.
She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., and a master's degree in Business Administration from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Rotarian.
In this position, Ms. Taylor will provide vision and leadership for the strategic development and management of University's employed physician practices to support University's mission, goals and program priorities.
