Vandals use BB guns to shoot out neighborhood windows

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - A community is asking for the public’s help after vandals target their Greenville neighborhood.

The vandals’ method of destruction is shooting out front windows with a BB gun. Vandalism victims say at least five homes on Concord Drive and Sedgefield Drive have been targeted. One of the victim’s Carol Ann Naipaul, says the vandals have hit her property twice in the last couple months.

“It bothers you. It’s sickening on the inside. I have had to cry, shed tears, and say why me?” said Naipaul.

Naipaul says this latest incident happened on Friday. She says she came out her house to find the back window of her van had been shot out.

“What if one of us was inside the van or our kid was inside the van? You could have killed somebody, you could have caused a lot of hurt and damages,” said Naipaul.

Naipaul says while many people are spending the holidays shopping for Christmas gifts, her family is going to have spend their hard earned money on repairing their shattered windows.

Several vandalism victims have filed police reports; however, they say the vandals have not been caught yet.

If you have any information on the person(s) responsible, contact the Greenville Police Department.
