Train hits, kills pedestrian in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. -

A pedestrian died after being hit by a train in Durham Monday afternoon.

The incident happened around 12:20 p.m. near Pettigrew and Plum streets.

There were 92 passengers on board the train.
