ECU student killed in Raleigh crash

Posted: Updated:
An ECU student was killed over the weekend when the car he was riding in ran off a road in Raleigh, hitting several trees.

23-year-old Blake Tolley was in the passenger seat, when his friend Logan Aronson was driving around 90 miles-per-hour and lost control Friday night.

Investigators say they believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.

Blake Tolley was a construction management major at ECU.

A memorial service for him will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock at First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh.
