NC Princess & Santa Claus flip flapjacks to help kids

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Dozens flapped jacks to help send chronically ill kids to camp.

Saturday’s pancake breakfast fundraiser was hosted by Applebee’s and the reigning Baby Miss North Carolina Princess, Kennedy Clark.

"We had a really large turnout this morning and we had a lot of private donations to, which we really appreciate and I know the kids and the parents really appreciate it." said Clark’s aunt, Amanda Pollard.

The money raised will go the Victory Junction, an organization that offers week-long camps for children with serious and chronic illnesses.

Also making an appearance at Saturday's fundraiser was Santa Claus.
