Sicily Drop Zone was buzzing December 7 during the early hours for  Operation Toy Drop, which is the largest combined airborne operation in the world, with nine allied countries participating.

Soldiers, families and other members of the community anxiously await the paratroopers to jump from a C-130. The 16th annual event is hosted by the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne).

Paratroopers donate a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for a lottery ticket for the chance of jumping with allied jumpmasters, earning themselves foreign jumpwings.
