More than 18 arrested in Pitt County drug busts

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit says they have spent the past two days concluding several on-going drug investigation which have resulted with the arrest of more than 18 drug dealers.

On December 10, the PCSO, with the assistance of the Greenville Police Department, and United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force of the Eastern District, collaborated efforts to serve 35 outstanding drug related warrants. During the first day, 18 arrest were made. Several more suspects were located and arrested on the second day.

Included in the arrests are:

Tiwan Maurice Holloway, 36, of Greenville. He is charged with trafficking Opium or Heroin and is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond.

Danielle Nicole Armwood, 28, of  Greenville. She is charged with trafficking Opium or Heroin and PWIMSD II CS. Armwood is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond.

Crystal Leanne Yaw, 29, of  Ayden. She is charged with trafficking Opium or Heroin and is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.

Alejandro Ortega, 23, of Winterville. He is charged with trafficking In cocaine and PWISD Cocaine. Ortega is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.

Marcus Allen Barnes, 27, of FarmVille is charged with PWISD Marijuana and Maintaining a Vehicle or dwelling place. Barnes is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.

Matthew Ray Gaylord, 30, of Greenville. He is charged with trafficking Opium or Heroin and is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.

Stanley Calvin Daniels, 56, of Greenville. He is charged with PWIMSD Heroin and remains in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
