Augusta, GA - The second-highest jackpot in Mega Millions® history draws Friday night, and the advertised pot has grown to $425 million, a jump of $25 million.

The winner can elect a cash option of $228 million.

According to a statement issued by Mega Millions®, the adjusted jackpot is an indication that Mega Millions® players from coast to coast are feeling the excitement. Mega Millions® estimates ticket sales will reach $63 million Friday leading up to Friday night's drawing at 11:00 p.m.
