VANCEBORO, N.C. -  Along Highway 17 in Vanceboro is a Christmas light display to brag about.

Each year, the Wetherington family spends about 3 months putting up hundreds of thousand of Christmas lights across two acres of land.

You can find everything from traditional Christmas displays to an ice skating rink.

9 On Your Side's Angela Green's favorite is a display of a few Marvel comic characters right in view of a banner that reads "God Bless Our Troops."

Many people stop by to take a tour of sorts.  It's free but they do appreciate donations.

The display will be on until around 10 every night and run through the new year.
