The Mega Millions® jackpot has jumped again to $636 million for Tuesday night's drawing, knocking on the door of the record $656 million set in March of last year.
That's an increase of $106 million since Friday, indicating how strong sales are nationally for the Mega Millions® game that now hold the record for the top two jackpots of all-time.
The winner can elect a cash option of $341 million or opt for the annuity paid out in 30 payments of roughly $21 million.
The odds of winning the jackpot are long, about one in 259 million.
