A little girl donated a bag of pennies to the CORRAL Riding Academy.
CARY, N.C. -
A young girl showed the true meaning of Christmas in Cary when she donated a bag of pennies to a non-profit.
The CORRAL Riding Academy -- a non-profit that serves at-risk teens and rescued horses -- received some big holiday donations this season. While the non-profit thought that was good luck enough, a little girl came to the academy and offered a bag of pennies for its annual campaign.
"It really touched me," said Rebekah Meyer, with CORRAL Riding Academy. "You can get so many corporate donors and that is wonderful. But the little donations, which is probably this girl's allowance, she wanted to donate for our program."
The non-profit shared the story on its Facebook page, and the generosity has touched the community.
