The River Club Homeowners Association wants its name taken off a lawsuit filed by the HOA's president, Steve Donohue, against the city of North Augusta.
The lawsuit alleges that the Tax Increment Financing District for Project Jackson is not valid.
Some homeowners said the suit did not represent their feelings, and they didn't want the group on the hook for legal fees.
The amended complaint has not yet been served against the city.
