Very sad news on this Christmas Eve....

According to the Warren County Coroner's Office, an adult and a child were killed in a deadly car accident  on I-20 eastbound earlier tonight, near mile marker 161.

The vehicle left the road, crashed into some trees and burned. It appears the driver over-corrected and lost control of the vehicle.

Coroner Paul Lowe suggests if you are expecting family from out-of-town and they haven't arrived, call the Warren County authorities at 706-465-3303.
