London, England:
"The time will be 2014 precisely"
The world rang in 2014 in spectacular fashion!
In every corner of the globe, dazzling fireworks displays.

House.
In Brazil, a big bash on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beach.
In China, a stunning light show at the Great Wall...and singing crowds.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL."
Across the U.S., frigid temperatures didn't stop the wave of celebrations.
In New York, revelers packed Times Square to watch the famed crystal ball
drop.
Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, a New York native, led the
festivities.
Chicago welcomed 2014.and braced for at least 6 inches of snow.
In Portland, Maine.......these people braved the cold for a New Year's Eve
five-K run and dip in the ocean!

"Fabulous, freezing, freezing but fun.  Exhilarating.

"It's a great thing to do on New Year's and you bond with everyone who does it with you."

For most of the country, a more traditional celebration, those glasses, hats and
the first kiss.
