Inverness bank robbed Thursday morning

A bank in Inverness was robbed Thursday morning.

The FBI and Hoover Police Department report the crime happened about 11:30am CT at a Regions Bank branch, located at 200 Inverness Center Drive in Hoover.

The male suspect walked inside, wearing a black and gray jacket with a vertical white stripe, blue jeans, work boots, and a black stocking cap.

The suspect approached a teller, and passed a note to the bank worker.

The robbery suspect took some money, and walked out of the bank, and left in a 90’s model 2-door sedan.

No injuries were reported, and it’s unknown whether the robbery suspect was armed.
