Goldsboro man arrested for breaking into car

GOLDSBORO, N.C. - A Goldsboro man has been arrested for breaking into a car.

On 11/01/2013 a man living on Cuyler Best Road reported that his 2007 Kia Sorento had been broken into and that various items had been stolen from the vehicle, including a money order. 

During the subsequent investigation, Rasean Tyree Davis, 25 of Goldsboro, was developed as a suspect.  Warrants were eventually secured on Rasean Tyree Davis for Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Larceny of Chose in Action, and Obtaining Property by False Pretense.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2014, the Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division arrested Mr. Davis, who was already in the Wayne County Jail on unrelated charges, and served the outstanding warrants on him.

Mr. Davis was placed back in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 secured bond, pending his first court appearance scheduled for January 16, 2014.
