Florida Atlantic Races Past ECU, 78-67

Florida Atlantic pulled away from East Carolina in the second half and beat the Pirates, 78-67 Thursday night.

Jackson Trapp led the Owls with 22 points. Trapp had six three point field goals in the game.

Akeem Richmond led the Pirates with 20 points including six three point field goals as well. Michael Zangari had 14 points and ten rebounds.

East Carolina falls to 11-6 overall and 0-2 in C-USA play. The Pirates stay on the road and face Florida International this Saturday in Miami.
