Charges pending after crash in Pamlico County

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Highway Patrol says charges are pending after a crash in Pamlico County.

On 15 January 2014 at 4:22 p.m., Trooper B. M. Riggs was dispatched to a crash on Don Lee Rd at the intersection of Kershaw Rd in Pamlico County.  A 2005 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Queen H. Hudson, age 82, of Arapahoe struck a bicycle being operated by Charles H. Fetzer, age 75, of Oriental.

Mrs Hudson was traveling east on Kershaw Rd and made a right turn onto Don Lee Rd and struck Mr. Fetzer who was traveling  on Don Lee Rd. at the intersection of Kershaw Rd.  Mr. Fetzer was transported to Vidant Hospital and is being treated for non –life threatening injuries.  Charges are pending.
