FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Cumberland County Sheriff's Detectives are looking for two men who they said broke into homes located in the Grays Creek and Cedar Creek subdivisions.

Authorities are looking for Steven Lee Nicholas Dawkins, 21, and Steven Nicolas Taylor, 20, of Fayetteville. Dawkins and Taylor are believed to be responsible for nearly a dozen residential robberies.

Warrants have been issued for their arrests. Both are facing charges of felony breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods and obtaining property by false pretenses.

Investigators say the men case homes in various neighborhoods and then wait for owners to leave before breaking in.

Some of the items stolen from the homes include guns, electronics, televisions, clothing and jewelry worth thousands of dollars.

Both men are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the suspects whereabouts are asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
