Deputies search for suspects in shooting

GOLDSBORO, N.C. - Wayne County deputies continue their search for three unknown males who forced their way in a home and shot a man. Deputies say they responded to a house on the 4700 block of US Highway 70 East for a burglary and shots fired. When they arrived, they found 65-year-old Johnny Lee Bryant suffering from a gunshot wound; he was shot in the abdomen. EMS took Bryant to Wayne Memorial Hospital and later to Vidant Medical Center. He is listed in stable condition.
