Dollar General robbed in Martin County

The Martin County Sheriffs’s Office is looking for persons of interest in connection with a Monday night armed robbery.

Deputies say on Monday January 20, 2014, at approximately 7:59 pm, the two masked subjects entered the Family Dollar located at 207 NC Hwy 11 in Oak City.  The subjects were armed with what appeared to be shotguns and demanded money from the cashiers.  Deputies say no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.  The suspects fled the store on foot and left heading towards the area of Commerce Street in Oak City. 

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office requests that anyone who has information as to the possible identity of those pictured, contact the Martin County Sheriff’s Office at 252-789-4500, Martin County Crime Stoppers at 252-792-8800 of Martin County Communications at 252-789-4555.
