Greenville man arrested after K-9 unit finds 63 bags of marijuana

GREENVILLE, N.C. - A Greenville man was arrested after deputies found 63 bags of marijuana in his home, according to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Department.

Michael Branch, 20, is charged with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, as well as maintaining a dwelling/place for the sale of a controlled substance.

On January 22nd, a detective conducting a routine check in the 100 block of Ridge Place in Greenville, NC called for a K-9 unit.  The Sheriff’s Department says that unit then found the bags of marijuana which lead to the arrest of Branch, who lives at the home.

Branch was also wanted by Greenville Police on additional crimes and had four active warrants for failing to appear on scheduled court dates.
