GUC: Wednesday a record setting day for energy usage

GREENVILLE, N.C. - With these frigid temps, plenty of you are turning to electricity to keep warm.
     
And in Greenville, Wednesday was a record-setting day.

GUC says customers used 7.3 million kilowatts of electricity, breaking the previous single-day record set in August of 2007.
