Slick spots still around on area sidewalks

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Have you been walking like a penguin over the past few days?

Let’s take care as those slick spots will be around for a little while longer.

Sidewalks are still an issue across many areas of the east because of all the snow, slush, and ice. The warmer weather has slowly allowed for the snow and ice to melt, but with temperatures likely to fall into the 20s and 30s tonight, expect some of the the wet spots to refreeze tonight. This could make things treacherous into Saturday morning.

Use caution again on Friday night and Saturday morning, not only on the sidewalks but also the streets. Temperatures don't look to fall below freezing for a few days with plain rain in the forecast as an unsettled weather pattern takes hold.
