Parmalee in competition for ACM New Artist of the Year

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Parmalee is asking its fans to vote for them as they compete for the 2014 Academy of Country Music New Artist of the Year award.

The award will be presented April 6 at the 49th Academy of Country Music Awards live from Las Vegas, airing on CBS and WNCT-TV.

Parmalee is one of eight bands and singers vying for the tropy.

You can go online and vote for the group here. Voting ends Tuesday at 3 p.m. The top three picks will go forward to the final round of voting.

“Carolina,” is the band’s latest hit from the “Feels Like Carolina” album.
