Greenville Police arrest juvenile after Food Lion armed robbery

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Greenville Police have arrested a juvenile in connection with an armed robbery.

Police Spokeswoman Kristen Hunter says it happened around 5:15 Tuesday evening at the Food Lion on Red Banks Road. The suspect entered the store with a knife and demanded money.

Hunter says officers were on patrol nearby. They were able to arrest the juvenile while he was still in the store.

No one was injured.

Because of the suspect’s age, police are not releasing his name.
